CityNews – The Foundation to Encourage the Potential of Disabled Persons is expanding from providing wheelchairs to also toilets, home visits, medical and health supplies as well as substantial donations of basic food.
“We have often been on the road all over the Provinces of Chiang Mai, Lampang, and Lamphun visiting minority villages, remote mountain villages, and completing these trips in all sorts of weather conditions as we are just now completing our Thailand monsoon season. We have encountered all manner of disability which has been very often complicated by severe poverty or isolation. Homes without electricity, homes void of road access, homes flooded by rains, and paths where the soft mud is ankle deep. But we are able to bring small measures of hope to countless families. We have been assisted by monks, local medical staff, and dedicated local village leaders. We hope you enjoy these photos and we continue to thank you for your ongoing loyal support,” said Don Willcox founder of The Foundation to Encourage the Potential of Disabled Persons.
