Local media were invited to the Grand Canyon Water Park, located just off the Canal Road, 3km south of the Samoeng junction. The Grand Canyon Water Park is open daily from 10am until 7pm. It costs 300THB per person, children under 90cm free. Twelve life guards and three supervisors, all with national certificates are on duty daily, plus everyone must wear a life jacket whilst playing on the slides.  There is a children’s area for families Plenty of refreshments are available; a coffee shop which sells amazing desserts and a food center with some very reasonable Thai, Halal and Asian dishes.
