The orange hotel in the centre of Chiang Mai city has an identity all of its own, with its postmodern style revealing a characteristic that remains different from all its competitors in the city. They’ve now opened a beer garden called D2 (D Squared) for those who are looking for a chilled place to hang out and down a few beers in the winter season. It’s open in the day for soft drinks, snacks, coffee, bakery goods, sandwiches, and at night time it opens at 5 p.m. offering a variety of dishes of mostly spicy Thai food – D2 stewed beef, minced crab meat, pad tai with shrimps – all served with iced beer or other drinks, along with a night full of live music.
