Amongst the variety of dishes on the menu, Daddy’s Antique’s pasta illustrates the overall character of this European restaurant; being both sophisticated and comforting. The homemade pasta is prepared from semolina flour imported from one of the best sources in Italy. Unlike the commonly used flour, semolina provides a more elastic texture to the pasta. As for those on a diet, it provides higher concentration of protein and does not contain cholesterol and saturated fat.
Here, pasta is made fresh daily with skills that require months of practice just to get the dough that is perfectly massaged — not too stiff nor too soft. Each kind of pasta is deliberately put together into a dish with selective ingredients like the tagliatelle pasta salmon pink sauce with the aromatic scent of saffron imported from Iran. The signature rotolo bolognese, a round pasta baked with beef sauce and grounded pork, is the dish you won’t find anywhere else in town, while the fettuccine truffle carbonara is rich in cheese giving the creamy taste. And this is only the pasta menu, there are plenty other dishes you don’t want to miss.
