Sometimes businesses offer more than one service or product. Sometimes these matches are incongruous, others inspired. Here are a few you can checkout and decide for yourselves.
Lamani
Stepping inside this clean marble-lined shop, the exquisite aromas of flowers assault the senses. This is one of the few premium flower shops to be found in the city, where you can go to get bouquets of exotic imports for all special occasions; whether Juliet roses from England, tulips from Holland or other magnificent flowers from Ecuador, Kenya and China. Pre-order is recommended but doors are also open for walk-in customers. While waiting for the final touches of perfection to your order, why not enjoy some of their flora coffees such as the Lamani Rose Latte, or if you prefer, jasmine latte or a collection of floral teas.
At One Nimman, Nimmanhaemin Soi 1
Open 9am – 9pm

Looper & Co.
This gathering of young creative minds in this unexpected location is our favourite new destination this month. Kodang Rachawong consists of a number of cool shops and one of them is the espresso and cocktail bar — Looper & Co. By day their almost austerely decorated minimal café serves coffee mocktails brimming with creativity and attitude. Banana, a cold brew coffee shake infused with chrysanthemum is served with caramelised bananas and shaved coconut and we can’t stop thinking about it. At night the bar is saucily lit and the DJ takes you on an upbeat journey into the night as one exotic and exciting drink after another materialises from the bar. We were working, so no alcoholic drinks for us, but we really really want to try the bitter jellyfish, which looks like a Portugese man o’ war in a shot glass! Hopefully less deadly. And at wallet-friendly prices, this is a super cool new hangout.
At Kodang Rachawong, 153 Rachawong Road
Open 9am – 4pm (café) and 7pm – midnight (bar)

Muu Muu Dessert Cocktail Bar
One of the best churros in town is here and you can have a cocktail to go with it! A clean bright and cheerful bar with a casual ambience, it’s all about sweets and cocktails here as the venue owners’ passions collide. One owner has spent months perfecting the traditional Spanish churros and crafting a delectable dessert menu. You simply MUST try the apple cinnamon churros bowl; crunchy and hot, stuffed with apple cinnamon, whose steamy aromas waft out at every bite, and all generously topped with sweet vanilla ice cream. Then there is the cocktail bar which is tended by a Thai bartender who has been evolving his skills in the UK for nearly ten years. Chiang Mai Passion, a rum base cocktail with passion fruits, pineapple and lime, can be the perfect complement to the sweet bowl of churros.
At The Wall Nimman, Huay Kaew Road
