This gallery and bar is run by a non-profit foundation and is a very popular hangout for residents, both Thai and expats, as well as visiting musicians and artists. There is something on most nights, whether it is a live performance, a hip hop DJ, an art exhibition or a party. The drinks are reasonably priced, the hosts are friendly, and there are even a few bar snacks. A good place to come if you are new to Chiang Mai and wanting to meet people, if you are looking for a place where many artists, writers and musicians meet or if you are wanting a great night out. It is a bit hit and miss at times, some nights when there are no events it can be quiet. Not a huge bar scene, but a very pleasant venue to sit back and have a good chat and meet interesting people.
