The first and complete mixed-usd project located in the heart of Krabi
Central Krabi – New Haven of Life, a mixed-use project with a total value of 4.5 billion baht, located on 114 rai of land consisting of Central shopping center (GFA:47,500 m2) which is scheduled to open in Q3/2025. This will be followed by the development of a housing estate, condominium and hotel. Krabi is Thailand’s high-potential provincial tourist destination, with a global reputation and strong purchasing power.
- It earned the 6th largest tourism revenue in the country and the 3rd largest in the South, known for its outstanding recovery in tourism. In 2023, Krabi generated 52.5 billion baht in revenue, from more than 4 million visitors; Krabi International Airport is scheduled for expansion and is expected to accommodate over 8 million tourists per year.
- Krabi also enjoys high purchasing power with a per capita GPP of 190,573 baht per year, the 4th highest GPP in the South and household spending power among the top five provinces in the country.
- High-potential catchment area of around 480,000 people from Krabi city and residents from more than 1,000 units of high-priced houses and condominiums with prices ranging from 2-10 million baht.
- The people enjoy an extensive range of lifestyle needs due to diversity in terms of race and religion, which allows them to live in ‘Biocultural Harmony’ resulting in a need for improved living space to better fulfil their lifestyle. Central Krabi, therefore, offers premium lifestyle brands, a food destination covering Thai, international and halal cuisines, recreation space for children and families as well as ‘retail magnets’ from Central Group such as Tops, Supersports, Powerbuy, B2S, and Auto1.
Central Krabi will be a landmark for both locals and tourists as it will reflects the nature of the islands and mountains that are inherently unique to the area as well as the identity of the way of life of the local people in Krabi. Lines and formations of the islands inspire the design concept of the ‘Floating Jewel of Krabi’, with a panoramic mountain viewpoint that everyone must experience. In addition, Krabi’s authentic culture and products are integrated into a tourist’s discovery port to ensure that this new destination will attract both Thai and international tourists. Taking into account sustainability, the project aims to reduce the carbon footprint from the construction process to be the first mixed-used project to achieve the global environmental standards of EDGE Certification. The project also focuses on energy saving, low-carbon emission and believes in joining hands with the community in an upstream to downstream waste segregation and upcycling waste from the sea and households.
The District of the Future – Total Transformation & New Masterplanning
As the first pioneer developer in many high potential areas and cities, Central shopping centers have become the ‘Center of District’ that people have associated with for a long time. Currently, the affluent demographic has changed, with several areas expanding and a population that shares a more sophisticated lifestyle and increased purchasing power. Therefore, we have implemented ‘total transformation’ which includes Central Bangna and Central Pinklao, two areas where the population has high purchasing power surrounded by luxury housing projects, as well as Central Chaengwattana, where the urban structure expansion supports growth to become a new CBD.
