WHY IS LUSH CELEBRATING WORLD BATH BOMB DAY?
LUSH was first awarded the trademark for bath bombs on 27th April 1990, after the
innovative product was invented by LUSH Co-founder and Product Inventor, Mo
Constantine, in her garden shed in 1989. Although previously unknown, the term
‘bath bomb’ is now so widely adopted it has been added to the English Oxford
Dictionary.
The trademark has since expired, but the joy of escaping into a vortex of steaming
colour is more widespread than ever. Whether it be the colour, fragrance, #bathart,
or sheer relaxation, this iconic LUSH invention has taken on an identity of its own:
bath bombs have earnt a place in the cultural zeitgeist.
Since Mo invented the bath bomb over 30 years ago, LUSH has always been about
advocating wellbeing, “We believe in long candlelit baths, sharing showers,
massage, and filling the world with perfume” is part of LUSH’s mission statement
and at the core of LUSH’s very purpose as a business.
WHAT IS A BATH BOMB? DOES IT HAVE BUBBLES?

of activities to celebrate taking a LUSH bath.

Design A Bath Bomb Like An Inventor!
LUSH Thailand opens the opportunity for everyone to evoke your imagination by
designing their very own Bath Bomb in a pencil colouring competition. This activity is
available both online through the LINE Platform and in-store starting from 18th April
in all LUSH stores. The winner gets a chance to win a Staycation and many more
prizes!
Be Like An Inventor
Alongside the Bath Bomb giveaway, LUSH Thailand will also give away the
opportunity to book the ultimate LUSH Bath Bomb Workshop experience to create
your own free Bath Bomb and you can take it home!
This free Bath Bomb workshop is available for a limited time only in your nearest
LUSH locations in Thailand on Sunday 24th April (prior booking needed). It can be
