CityNews – August 10, according to Nipon Wichairat, acting director of Chiang Mai Zoo, Chiang Mai Zoo’s newest members are four baby white lions (three males and a female), born earlier last month, and are now ready for residents and tourists to give them a visit between 11am – 12pm.
This will also be a welcome event for Mother’s Day, says Nipon.
The zoo has also encouraged those interested to name the four white lion babies to get a chance to win the 1,000-baht prize for each name and get a free ticket to visit pandas for a year. Submit the names from now to 30 September.
The zoo also invites residents and tourists to join various activities – including exhibitions about Her Majesty the Queen’s royal duties — on Mother’s Day.
Mothers and children will also get a chance to feed animals and write blessing cards. For more information contact 053358116.
