The Covid Response Centre has announced that the field hospital, set up at the International Conference Centre, has now officially closed, following the departure yesterday of the last nine patients.
In celebration, the governor of Chiang Mai held a blessing ceremony.
Over the past 161 days the hospital was open, a total of 7,740 people were admitted, with only 39 being considered in critical condition.
