Muang Mai Market has been hard hit of late from a recent cluster of Covid-19. A special ATK unit has been brought in to trace and isolate as many Covid-positive people as possible.
Between the 7th-11th October 3,000 doses of the vaccine were administered to workers in the market and surrounding areas and a further 3,000 doses were administered in neighbouring neighbourhoods by the municipality.
The municipality are waiting for approval for a further 2,000 doses to combat this cluster
Muang Mai Market will, barring any further challenges, be reopen on the 23rd October, though all vendors must have proof of at least one vaccination.
