CityNews – Pictures of a blood-soaked woman posted on Facebook has lead to an investigation.
A friend of an injured woman released photos of her blood-covered face on Facebook, which went viral. The police opened an investigation into the matter on July 31st and the woman in the picture was summoned to the police station. She told police that the incident occurred around midnight of the 30th on the outer ring road in Pa Bong, Saraphi District, but had few details to add.
According to the police report, the unnamed woman was in a state of confusion and couldn’t recall the incident clearly, her only recollections were of getting onto the motorcycle and then falling. She also recalled a motorcycle passing by, but had no details to add.
She explained that she rode back to her residence in San Kamphaeng and was later taken to the hospital by her friend to tend to the wounds.
Police are looking into CCTV records for additional clues.
