CityNews – Police arrested four suspects related to two theft cases on December 13, after reports of bag snatching around the city and an apartment that was broken into.
On the night of September 5th, the police were informed of a bag snatched outside an apartment on Singharat road in Sri Phum area. While the victims was riding a motorcycle in the area, the suspects on two motorcycles snatched the bag.
The police were able to trace and arrest the suspects, identified as Patsorn Kawina, 20, from Sarapee district, and other two teenager thieves, aged 16 and 17.
The police also seized two mobile phones and a motorcycle from this case.
The three suspects confessed that they had snatched three bags.
Another theft case happened on December 9, at around 2.40 am. A Spanish photographer reported to police that his bedroom was broken into and several items were stolen.
The police studied CCTV footage and were able to identify the suspect as Danai Karnwattanangkun, 29, from Suthep sub-district. Danai was arrested outside a pub in Chang Phuak area.
Danai admitted to stealing the Spanish photographer’s items.
He told the police that he had hidden the stolen items in his apartment.
The Spanish photographer has been contacted to claim his belongings.
