CityNews – Two people arrested for snatching a mobile phone from a street restaurant.
On the night of August 26thm Narongdech Sawasraksa, 29, and Nuttapat Muangjai, 32, were arrested in a residence in Muang Kaew, Mae Rim District. The arrest follows a report of a snatching theft which occurred at a restaurant in Tippanate, Hai Ya. The two confessed that while they were at the restaurant, they spotted a mobile phone left at a table next to them.
The mobile phone was pawned and they spent money on hanging out. Police showed a record that they both had been arrested for similar misdemeanours before.
