Good old Sankampaneg Hot Springs, one of Chiang Mai’s early tourist attractions is gaining traction this past week as temperatures have been dropping across Thailand, with reported 5,000 visitors per day!
A newer 36 kilometres from Chiang Mai city centre, charging only 40 baht for adults and half that for children to get a chance to dip their feet into the hot springs, locals and tourists alike are flocking to the natural hot springs for a bit of heat and fun!
If you are lucky and book well enough in advance, they also have private baths and rooms for you to indulge in a bit of a less hectic setting.
