27th November 2019: AIS was selected to be in the list of Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI) of the group of listed companies with market capitalization over 100,000 million Baht for 5 years consecutively. Organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), there are selection criteria that evaluate the listed companies from both Environment, Society and Governance (ESG: Environmental, Social and Governance). In addition, AIS has been ranked in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) in the World Index and the Emerging market index in 2019.
Since Q2, 2019 AIS has moved forward to promote the sustainable development of the digital society through a new concept, “if we are all the network” under the mission named “Aunjai Cyber” (อุ่นใจไซเบอร์). It is to create immunity and a digital content filtering tool from the digital world in 2 main concepts: 1. To raise up the standard of digital literacy with DQ (Digital Quotient) and 2. To develop of online content screening system by using “AIS Secure Net” and “Google Family Link” with Google. In addition, AIS also pays attention to environmental issues such as the management of e-waste. AIS will be the centre for receiving electronic waste for proper disposal and does not cause harm to the environment.
