A piece of ‘Durian Art’ has been spotted for sale online, supposedly by artist Maurizio Cattelan @MCattelan07, at a rather steep price of 169 million baht. Upon closer inspection, however, it appears to be a rather cleverly timed marketing ploy to sell the teak home and gardens which is thrown in with the art piece.
This gimmick is hoping to generate some interest in the house for sale and you’ve got to to give props to the ‘artist’ for the creation of this durian art titled—wink wink—Comedienne.
