CityNews – On Sunday 12th May, ‘The Tigers’ Chiang Mai FC travelled away to take on Kamphaengphet FC.
In the 7th minute of the game Chiang Mai took the lead when Chatchai Nakwichit headed in. The away team had most of the ball and made in 2-0 in the 32nd minute when versatile striker Anon Bubpha scored.
Chiang Mai moved the ball nicely in the second half and never looked threatened. In the 55th minute Anon Bubpha got his second goal.
Even though Kamphaenphet got a goal through Mansah Moussa later in the game it was too late for any concerted come back. The game ended 1-3.
Chiang Mai will play Sunday 18th May at 700 Year Stadium against Lampang FC. Kick-off 6 p.m.
