CityNews – According to Land Traffic Act, B.E. 2562, the electronic driver license will be eligible starting on September 20th.
It will be accessible via DLT Smart Licence application. The traffic police emphasises that drivers are required to display their driver’s license, either the physical card or the electronic license, which must be displayed via the DLT application only.
If the driver refuses to pay a fine, instead of seizing the license card, the driver will be subjected to a further 2,000 baht fine when the motor-vehicle tax is due.
The application will also provide information on license renewal and emergency contacts.
