CityNews – The Institute for Small and Medium Enterprises Development Promotion launched a project named ‘Train the Coach’, aimed at promoting 10,000 SMEs and produce a network of information from 2,200 coaches.
Aligned with the Thailand 4.0 Roadmap, the Institute for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ISMED) has launched a pilot project on April 5th, Train the Coach, under the SMEs one stop service.
Train the Coach aims to produce 2,200 coaches who will be mentoring SMEs entrepreneurs enhancing their digital skills individually. Coaches are categorised into three groups: Biz Mentor, a general management group; Tech Experts, gathering innovative or tech savy persons; and Biz Transformer, a group of executives and high level directors from both public and private sectors.
The project targets 10,000 SMEs in the first three years and will establish a network of information. After an official opening ceremony on April 5th in Chiang Mai, the ISMED will conduct a roadshow around the country in cities such as Khon Kaen, Chonburi, Songkhla and Bangkok.
