5pm – 6.30pm: Press conference at the Chiang Mai City Arts and Culture Centre
November 12th
6pm: Lighting of candles at Three Kings Monument
7pm – 11pm: Lighting candles around the city
7pm – 11pm: Lighting of candles in honor of the Lord Buddha at Three Kings Monument
November 12th – 18th
7pm – Midnight: Lantern Decoration for Yee Peng Festival
7pm – midnight: Floating Krathong Contest around city moat
November 13th
9am – 10pm: Tang Tham Luang ceremony and candle tray decoration to worship at the Pagoda of Lok Mo Lee Temple
6.30pm – 7pm: Opening Ceremony of the 2016 Yee Peng Festival at Tha Pae Gate
November 13th – 14th
10am – 11pm: Worshiping ritual to Pra Sirimangala at the Chiang Mai Buddhists’ Society
All Day: Pratu Pa decoration contest at temples and municipal buildings
November 14th
8.09am – 10.30am: Worshiping ritual for house spirits at the White Pagoda near the Chiang Mai Municipality offices
9am – Midday: Handmade kratong contest (banana leaves and flowers) at the Chiang Mai Municipality offices
7pm and 10pm: Releasing Krathong Sai into the Ping River at the Chiang Mai Municipality offices
November 15th
7pm – 11pm: Grand Krathong Procession at Tha Pae Gate to the Chiang Mai Municipality offices
