The Master English Public Speaking Program, is a public speaking competition organized in collaboration with Trinity College at the University of Melbourne and Ambassador Education Group, successfully took place on February 15th, 2025 at Unity Concord International School, bringing together talented students from various schools to showcase their public speaking skills. This year’s theme challenged students to explore historical events with the prompt:
“If you had a time machine which could take you back to observe a significant moment in history, what event or time would you return to? Why would you choose this event, and what can we learn from it?”
Finalists from Unity Concord International School, Ambassador Bilingual Academy, Singapore International School, Varee Chiang Mai School, and Kowitthamrong Chiang Mai School went head to head to share their knowledge and show their skills. Each student was assigned a historical event and evaluated on content, language use, clarity, body language, and timing. The competition was made possible with the support of Mr. Ben Waymire, Senior Regional Manager from Trinity College, who played a key role in organizing the event.

For this Year’s Master English Program, the winners were awarded amazing prizes, including Apple iPads and gift cards to Central Department Store. Additionally, lucky audience members received random prizes as part of a lucky draw. The students delivered outstanding speeches, making the event a great success. We look forward to seeing even more talented speakers in next year’s competition!
