Chiang Mai Chiang Mai along with the Public Health Office raided bars along Loi Kroh Road late last night to check on their licenses and, “Check on the wellbeing of all.”
Upon inspection, five bars were found to be illegally selling laughing gas, or Nitrious Oxide, which they were selling at 50 baht per small balloon and 100 baht per large balloon.
As laughing gas sales are illegal in Thailand, all items found have been confiscated. Business owners face up to five years in jail or 10,000 bah in fines.
