Footage and photos of an accident in high occurred at the Fah Thani intersection late last night has been circulated by traffic police as a warning to the public not a o drink and drive.
According to authorities, at around 3am last night, a man driving a Porsche drive from Sirankalajarn Road into the Huay Kaew intersection, hitting a motorbike driven by a young student and his female friend.
Upon hitting the motorbike, the driver of the Porsche inexplicably reversed into the bike, dragging the driver under the wheel a second time. He soon pulled up to the curb and was dragged out of the vehicle by concerned passersby who noticed that the driver was intoxicated.
Both victims are injured with numerous broken bones but are said to be recovering.
The driver of the Porsche has visited the victims in hospital and admitted to being fully at fault and said that he will take full responsibility in accordance with the law.
