Recently, a video clip featuring a G-string-wearing coyote dancer at a raft house in Mueang Kaeo, Mae Rim district, went viral. The footage showed the dancer revealing her thong while performing a sexy dance and grinding against a male guest. The video has sparked local criticism, with many calling it inappropriate and obscene. Concern was raised because families and children were nearby. Locals expressed worries that this behavior could set a bad example for children.

Recently, Janjira Kotikaew, the restaurant coordinator, admitted that she didn’t realize the clip would attract such criticism and apologized for the incident. Around 10 restaurants are operating on the beach this year, and no coyotes are allowed at any of them. However, the organizers admitted that they were unable to provide full oversight, which led some restaurants to bring in coyotes to entertain customers. Janjira further explained that she has already reminded all restaurants, warning that any violations would result in immediate contract termination.
Mae Rim District Chief, Watchara Thepkan, stated that he has been made aware of the issue. He deemed the video provocative and inappropriate because it is a public area with many children and youths.

He assured that an investigation would be conducted, and he would seek cooperation from local establishments to ensure that such incidents do not occur again.
