The RTC Chiang Mai City Bus has officially launched its regular bus services which will run from 8am-9pm daily.
Following the provincial policy in connecting the city through better public transportation, buses will run from Chiang Mai International Airport, stopping off at One Nimman, Chang Puak Gate, Tha Pae Gate, the Flower Market, Chiang Mai Gate and arriving in Central Chiang Mai Airport costing 30 baht per person and 20 baht for students.
The system will eventually widen to encompass stops including the Train Station, Acade Bus Station and other important city landmarks. RTC promises to incorporate latest technology and sustainable practices including cashless systems, all of which fall in line with Chiang Mai’s aim to become a smart city and to reduce its carbon footprint.
