The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has announced that it will focus on destination branding in Chiang Rai province by launching the first World Tea and Coffee Expo this upcoming September.
To be held in Rajabhat University Chiang Rai’s Rama 9th Philosophy Hall, the event will promote the MICE ecosystem by pulling together businesses along the value chain in the north of Thailand to become involved including farmers, investors, researchers, business owners and international buyers.
There will be numerous business matching opportunities focusing on the branding of Chiang Rai as a coffee and tea destination of the region.
There will be meetings on both the local as well as international levels as well as tourism activities to promote the many attractions of Chiang Rai including product expos and numerous events.
The World Coffee and Tea Expo 2024 will be held on the 28th, 29th and 30th September and will feature up to 50 Chiang Rai business owners and farmers who will be featuring their products. There will be symposiums held by academics and researchers a well as numerous other, previously mentioned, activities.
