CityNews – According to a 7th July resolution on Watershed Forest Restoration, Thanya Netithammakun, Director General of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, visited Sri Nan National Park to inaugurate the “Watershed Forest Restoration after the Deterioration Project” in honor of The Seventieth Anniversary Celebrations of His Majesty’s Accession to the Throne, and The Eighty-Fourth Birthday Celebrations of Queen Sirikit on 12th August.
The citizens gave the authorities the hunting tools to guarantee that they will stop hunting wild animals, and attended reforestation project together.
Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has divided the processes into 3 steps, including control area, control people, and Agriculture development with 7 strategies, including establish the understanding, people and area managements, forest conservation, ecological restoration, career development, conduct the natural resources and the environment Conservation, and people encouragement.
