The group provides supportive platforms where women can expand their networks, pursue their passions, and make meaningful connections while contributing to the beauty and growth of Mae Rim. As a community-focused group, the group offers opportunities, resources, and workshops to help women thrive by sharing knowledge, experience, and skills.
The goal is to build a strong, caring network where women support, inspire, and uplift each other. A key focus is to support local businesses by raising awareness, creating connections, and identifying collaborative opportunities that benefit both individuals and the wider community. They also aim to collaborate with other women’s groups across Chiang Mai, sharing ideas and creating opportunities to strengthen communities in Chiang Mai.
To celebrate and mark International Women’s Day 2025, Women of Mae Rim hosted two events on Saturday, March 8th:
Morning Networking Event at Sala Cafe, Mae Rim – A beautiful, scenic setting where women shared experiences, exchanged ideas, and explored ways to connect and collaborate as a community.
Evening Celebration at Roam Bar Joy – A lively and eclectic venue where they came together for energy, laughter, and meaningful conversations, bringing together their fun, mixed Mae Rim and wider community.
Both events were exactly the kind of energy and connection they hope to encourage and inspire within the community.
The group wishes to send a huge thank you to Sala Cafe and Roam Bar Joy for hosting them, to everyone who joined to share ideas, provide valuable feedback, have fun, and to the women’s support groups worldwide who helped plant the seed for this initiative.
To all the women of Mae Rim: “Let’s build a stronger, more connected community—together! We have two events lined up in April and naturally another “Connect”, stayed tuned for details.”
