CityNews – The governor of Chiang Mai is drafting a Chiang Mai Smart City Plan with a budget of 340 million baht, aiming to push the project Smart Street @ Nimman.
Aligned with the Chiang Mai Development Plan (2018 – 2021), the vision of the Smart City project has been set under the tag line “Good Foods, Good Life and Well-being” with a 340 million baht budget. The strategic plan includes; 1. Enhancing the digital economy, 2. Improving citizen’s well-being, 3. Improve security, 4. Enhance government public services, 5. Increase human resources skills.
The project aims to develop Nimmanhaemin Road under the name Smart Street @ Nimman with e-billing, smart car parking, smart navigation and such. Citylife will look into this further and give you a fuller update and report.
