CityNews – A cement balcony collapsed in Chang Klan, killing one man on April 11.
A balcony at the housing estate Mango Ville in Chang Klan collapsed, crushing 33-year-old Yo, a Burmese national and injuring 35-year-old Manit, a Burmese national and a friend of the deceased.
According to the injured man, the two were hired to fit windows to the apartment block. The balcony above them then fell on them and killed Yo. Others on the scene rushed to help pull out both the men from under the rubble.
An investigation continues as police claim the base of the balcony was unstable.
