CityNews – A body has been found in the moat on the morning of January 14 by locals walking to work.
At around 8am on Sunday morning, January 14, some locals who were walking along the moat near Suan Dok Gate discovered a human body floating in the moat water. Police and rescue teams were called to the scene but the man was already deceased.
Police identified him as Narin Ngern-aon, aged 55, after discovering his ID card in his pocket. He had no injuries on his body, but was believed to have died two to five hours ago, placing him at the scene in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police have notified the man’s relatives and his body has been taken to Maharaj Hospital for a full autopsy to deduce the cause of death.
