CityNews – Reports have come out that some schools are now extending their summer holidays in order to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Chiang Mai Kindergarten is the latest school to extend its holidays by a fortnight and plans to use that time to clean the school thoroughly.
The decision came after the school learnt of the return of a parent from Hokkaido, Japan, where they had been working as a guide. While they had passed all screenings done at the airport, the school thought it best to close a further two weeks to reassure all parents that they are doing everything to protect the wellbeing of their children.
