Cyclone to cause Heavy Rains in Chiang Mai

CityNews – The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning saying that a cyclone, the first of the year, will cause heavy rains and storms until May 19^th.

Komsan Suwanaumpa, the head of the department of disaster prevention and mitigation said, “We are still following cyclone Mahasen. It’s presently moving to Bangladesh and Burma, not really directly to Thailand, but it will cause heavy rains around Mae Hongson, Chiang Mai, Tak, Kanchanaburi, Chonburi, Rayong, Janthaburi and Trad.”
