CityNews – Driver rammed into police checkpoint is fined 300,000 baht.
On the night of May 17th, a police checkpoint was destroyed after a crash. A car came from highway 1366, attempted to turn left at high speed to Chotana-Mae Rim road but rammed into the checkpoint. There was no officer on duty and the driver, 31 year old Nikon Yodmoon, is not injured. He has been tested for alcohol which is awaiting for a result, before being prosecuted. He is fined 300,000 baht for vandalism.
