CityNews – A four car pile up occurred in front of the Ban Tha Kam Nuea Community Health Centre, Chom Thong, on the night on March 24.
Eight people were injured in the accident which was caught on CCTV camera at a nearby mini mart. According to one of the bystanders, a Toyota pickup truck drove from Hot district heading to Chom Thong at high speed and collided with the back of another pickup truck before that truck lost control and crossed into another land and collided with two cars.
The Mayor of Ban Pae, Pansak Kaewsudjai was near the scene, so he, along with the rescue team offered help and sent the injured to Hot Hospital.
The mayor revealed that the 9 kilometre road in Ban Pae, along the Chom Thong to Hot Road (Road 108) is dangerous since there are many curves. Also, ever since it is changed to a four-lane road, the vehicles drive with a very high speed causing many accidents.
