CityNews – Office of The Consumer Protection Board visited Warorot Market to underline a ban of high pressure water guns.
On April 3rd, Office of The Consumer Protection Board (OCPB) inspected vendors in Warorot Market that are merchandising water guns for the upsoming Songkran festival. The office reported that many of the products have no clear label. Several vendors had high pressure water guns that are potentially dangerous seized. The office stresses that vendors who do not comply will face five years imprisonment or fined up to 500,000 baht or both while the supplier will face10 years imprisonment or fined 1 million baht or both.
