CityNews – Yesterday evening, April 2, a forest fire behind Montfort College in downtown Nong Hoi, Chiang Mai, came a little too close to communities.
Firemen took around two hours to control the blaze, that spread over 100 rai of land, 5 kilometres in length.
There were no report of injuries, deaths, or damage to houses.
Officials believe the fire was likely started after local residents burnt rubbish.
