CityNews – Many people attended the first day of the City Pillar Inthakin Festival on June 1.
Yesterday evening, locals and tourists came to pay respects to the Chiang Mai Pillar along with the Chiang Mai Governor at Wat Chedi Luang.
A Buddha statue was paraded around the city in a ceremony that is held to ask for lots of rain during the monsoon season.
The statue will remain at Wat Chedi Luang for seven days.
