CityNews – The Monastery in Tung Luand Temple in Chiang Mai caught on fire on May 4, causing over one million baht in damage.
Police and fire crews were called to the fire which was discovered around 8pm on May 4. The fire started from a pile of wood next to the monastery but it is still unknown what started the blaze.
It took over two and a half hours to control the fire that caused over a million baht worth of damage and destroyed countless religious items and temple property.
