Mon Jam Sky Walk opens for check-in lovers

Chiang Mai is beginning to get some love from tourists, after months of doldrums, now that winter has arrived.

To capitalise on this much-needed tourism baht, many new attractions are opening up, and Mon Jam, one of the top hit must-visit destinations has also upped its game by opening a new ‘Sky Walk’.

With temperatures sitting around 20-22 Celsius throughout the day at Mon Jam, visitors can now enjoy taking photos at the bamboo bridge dubbed the ‘Sky Walk’, opened last week.

The 200m walkway was built by a local property owner and affords sweeping views across Mae Rim and Mae Taeng in the valley below.

Wichit Methaanankul, president of Mon Jam Agro Tourism Association said that there are currently 90 tented accommodation business which can sleep up to 3,000 people per day in the Mon Jam area.
