On the morning of 12th June 2020, Nittipol Chainant, advisor to the Ministry of Health along with his team visited Chiang Mai Gate market to inspect health and safety measures.
He was pleased to find the market and its vendors in compliance with government regulations. He said that he has been touring numerous markets and on the most part is very satisfied. There were some minor issues in some places, but very few. 
This afternoon he will be touring some of Chiang Mai’s spas.
