A Baily bridge was erected at great speed along the Chiang Mai-Chiang Rai road where sections of the road were swept away following rains last week.
The worst damage to the road was done around the kilometre marker 32 near Ban Mae Wan, Doi Saket, with over 20 metres of the road washed away. It took ten hours to erect the bridge overnight last night and the road is now open for use.
