The carcasses of two barking deer were found and confiscated by border authorities in Tak, leading to the arrest of a woman who has been accused of trading in illegal wildlife for over a decade.
Pranee Boonkham has been accused of trading in illegal wildlife after authorities found a post she made on social media selling the carcass of a barking deer for 9,000 baht.
Pranee was also found to be purchasing barking deer meat at 300 baht per kilogram, selling it on at 600 baht per kilogram.
