CityNews – On the night of the 18th April 2020, reports of a fire saw rescue service and firefighters arrive at a home in San Sai to find that a fire had ravaged the bottom floor of a home, injuring a 40 year old woman, who was the owner of the house.
The son of the woman was also injured and told rescue workers that he had been working on his motorbike when it ignited for no known reason. He said that while his mother and he attempted to put out the fire it got out of control and engulfed his mother. She was rushed to the hospital and the fire was put out.
