CityNews – On 14th May, at 2 p.m. at Chiang Mai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Plodprasop Suraswadi, the deputy Prime Minister was president at the opening of the water exhibition, the 2nd Asia – Pacific Water Summit 2013, from 14th – 18th May.
It is believed that the exhibition was the biggest water exhibition in Thailand, showcasing four different minor exhibitions. At the pavilion attendees could see His Majesty the King’s Water Management Project (rough translation) held by the Office of the National Water and Flood Management Policy. There was also a grand exhibition telling the story of floods in Thailand past and present.
Those who are interested in seeing the exhibition can go from 14th – 18th May, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Admission is free and there are 20 red cars as transport from The Harbour, Kad Suan Kaew, Warorot Market, Night Bazaar, Ta Pae Gate and Chiang Mai Hill Hotel.

Additionally, there were 108 booths presenting new technology and local wisdoms, 80 booths of products for sale, and 52 booths for OTOP products. In the meantime, there were Water Young Leadership Stage (rough translation) with 150 teenagers from Thailand and 50 teenagers from Asia – Pacific countries attended the activities.
