ALaLa Dance Fest Press Conference

A press conference was held at Kalm Village to announce the ALaLa Dance Fest (International Ethnic Dance Festival) will take place from 11 – 14 October 2024 at Old Chiangmai Cultural Centre.
October 11 – 14 ALaLa Dance Fest at Old Chiangmai (Wualai Road), enjoy performances and workshops from SIRISOOK Dance Theatre (Lanna), Khampha Dance (Lanna), KDA_Bali & Bajranyana Music Theatre (Bali, Indonesia), and Ambrita Sunshine (Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa). Four artists, three nationalities, plus a Dance tatonyon exhibition, and an ethnic food market with over 30 vendors to choose from. 10:00 AM: Start exploring the exhibition and joining workshops. 4:00 PM: Time to pick your dinner. 6:00 PM: The first performance of the day begins. 7:30 PM: The second performance follows right after. Each day features 2 workshops and 2 performances. If you want to catch them all, come for two days!

Saturday & Sunday: 10am – 12 noon Neo Lanna Dance workshop Khampha Dance // 2pm – 4pm Spirit & Movement workshop Côte d’Ivoire // 6pm – 7pm Jiwatma Performance Bali & Bajranyana // 7.30pm – 8.30pm Kew Nang Kaew performance-Sirisook Dance Theatre.
