Austin-Chiang Mai Sister Cities Initiative Launch at One Nimman with U.S. Ambassador to Thailand Robert F. Godec, Consul General for northern Thailand Lisa Buzenas, Chiang Mai Provincial Governor Nirat Phongsittithaworn, Chiang Mai Provincial Administration Organization President Pichai Lertpong-adisorn, and Chiang Mai Municipality Mayor Assanee Buranupakorn. Plus the newly-established Chiang Mai Sister Cities Board of Directors as they showcase famous Austin and Chiang Mai food, music, and dance. The Chiang Mai Sister Cities board also arranged for booths to highlight different aspects of the new relationship. The event featured traditional Thai dancing and Texas Line dancing.
