The opening was presided over by the Governor of Chiang Mai Nirat Pongsitthaworn, after which there was a magnificent floral parade, with 25 elaborately decorated floats adorned with exquisite flowers. The parade, joined by government and private sector organizations, proceeded from the front of the Chiang Mai Governor’s Residence to Nong Buak Haad Public Park, where the floats will remain on display until February 9, 2025. Visitors can experience the festival’s beauty both day and night, immersing themselves in a floral wonderland that embodies the rich cultural heritage of Chiang Mai. As one of Chiang Mai’s most celebrated Soft Power attractions, the Chiang Mai Flower Festival continues to captivate visitors from around the world, promoting tourism and boosting the local economy year after year.
