Opening of Invisible Things Exhibition at Thailand Creative Design Centre (TCDC) Muang Samut Road. Globalization has made the world of things permeable. Everyday object oscillate between cultures. Three curators Martin Rendel (Germany) Philip Cornwel Smith (Thailand) and Piboon Amomjirapom (Thailand) selected 25 Thai and German objects which are so ordinary that they seem insignificant. Yet they reveal a lot about us – our traditions, our history and also our mentality. Main sponsor of this exhibition is Goethe-Institut, Thailand. The exhibition is on display at TCDC until 28 February 2019 (open Tuesday – Friday 10.30am until 6pm).
